Muppies relies on a highly focused set of membership criterion to accept applicants as Muppies members. We specifically look for professionals who are either currently serving in a leadership capacity or are on a leadership track in their careers. We also look for individuals who have demonstrated leadership in their personal endeavors. Given this focus, our targeted career fields include:
- Industry General management, corporate strategy, leading positions in functional areas (e.g., sales, marketing, operations, etc.)
- Entrepreneurship: Entrepreneurs working with venture capital backed start-ups
- Consulting: Strategy/management consulting, economic consulting, operations consulting
- Finance: Investment banking, sales & trading, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, asset management, equity research, corporate business development
- Social Enterprise
We also invite membership from exceptional students who demonstrate clear interest in entering the fields we target. Interest is typically demonstrated by relevant internship experience, coursework and/or extracurricular activities. We also evaluate students on their leadership experience.
Membership will be granted to individuals who clearly fit in the aforementioned criteria. As such, we often forgo extending membership to talented individuals
who do not have a background in the niche that Muppies strives to serve.

We encourage applicants to thoroughly complete all portions of the application. Individuals who submit incomplete applications are often not accepted for membership. Following this form, you will be prompted to upload your resume. Resumes are required from all applicants in order to be considered for membership.
Membership is currently free. We are currently waiving our annual membership fee for all individuals who are accepted as members.
